Who did you make that display for/who is the seller? They didn't do a very good job putting it together. Ear pucks stick out way too far and the ear light acrylic disks look comical. Plus, trying to get $1700 for an unchromed helmet is rediculious, regardless of the fact that its got a beautiful display in it.

Well, it could be put together a bit better, but then again I'm not an expert.

Not sure if you have chosen the LEDs yet but im just gonna throw in my opinion, go for the defuse. The clear ones are usually a narrower beam and will project a spot of light onto the visor but the diffused will give a ball of red light which looks the same from different angles so you dont get a 'hot spot'.

Hey I have those diffused too! Hah. Glad they worked out for you. I look forward to seeing the difference. One day I will get around to making the 11x42 3mm Red diffused array.

That would be really cool. Is that the size of the Discovery era Thomas? It would make more sense if it was 11x44 (four 11x11 matrices). Easier to program.

Yes that's Discovery, and I was going to do just that! (Get out of my head!) I didn't want to figure out that hard of a concept (11x42) so...one day when my current projects are done I will do it. Light that array up yet?

I love the red opposed to the clear. Looks neat.
