    Guy-Manuel Helmet and Gloves

Remove this ad: become a supporter
Hey everybody, I'm new here! I'd like to share my Guy-Man helmet that I bought and my gloves that I'm currently making. I got the helmet a while back on ebay. I've read this forum before I joined and got to see the many helmets made by many makers on here, but I'm not sure who made it. As for the gloves, I made them out of PVC. I remember getting the idea after reading an old thread on here about using PVC as an alternative to vacuum forming. So far it seems pretty good. Any thoughts, tips? Any idea who made this great helmet? Thanks.

    Re: Guy-Manuel Helmet and Gloves

I'm trying to get it chrome ready at the moment, though I haven't spent any time on it in a while. My dad has a friend who works at an auto body shop, and says he can chrome it for around $150-250. I have to talk to him again to make sure it's a cosmichrome method and he won't put it in an oven, or else this thang will melttt. I'm really hoping to get Guy all shiny by September. I really want lights too, so that will add to the workload.

I want the whole costume ready (that includes chromed gloves) by the time Halloween comes around.
