I can't tell if you're agreeing or not? I think you're saying with all the reverb it's not perfect but it's less usable like this. usable, granted, because it is still the best one out there so far, but it'd be MORE USABLE if you just gave up the reverbless one. there are degrees of usablity.

if you are agreeing, then...where's the reverbless one?

EDIT: Not to nag, but I feel like I need to make my point clear with examples.
    1. I will add my own verb, but it will be a) way less heavy (like, 1.5sec at the most, probably less) because there will be tons of other things happening, and imperfections will be MUCH less obvious. I may even be able to get away with just a delay, we'll see. I'll never know without the clean acapella
    2. I'm envisioning a breakdown section of my remix where each line is much further apart. like "Do the DANCE.........1234 FIGHT.........etc". that is nigh to IMPOSSIBLE with all that reverb on there. I'd have to do some major editing with even MORE reverb and delay just to cover up the fact I'm chopping off reverb tails.
Not trying to be an inconsiderate jerk, still a great acapella, and I'll use it anyway, but I really wanna get my point across because I want the best possible result from my eventual remix.

im agreeing with the reverbed one, and the original sample i had for the acapella, did have reverb in it originally,

well it's only turning into that because you didn't say the original sample had reverb! if you had just said that, we'd stop bothering you haha. I got the impression you ADDED it to make it sound "better" and cover up flaws, so I was confused as to why you couldn't just turn off the reverb plugin and add it.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you go about making this? did you filter it from the original? if it was me, I'd try to get it out of the DANCE Rehearsal on Cross. less to filter out.

yeah I noticed that too. figured it out pretty quick though. I like the clean acapella better!

I dunno what's with the big feud. maybe I went too far with the joke in my thread but after it was all explained as a joke I think we're alright. the only real advantage to my acapella now is it has that extra lyric in it about streaming through the radio, so for my remix I'll probably use his reverbless acapella for the bulk of it, mine for the breakdown. I like the subtle piano anyway
