Re: My Remix of Music Sounds Better With You

I've got to be honest, I didn't really care much for it :/

It sounded so 'thin' up until the piano came in at about 1:35 and then it still sounded rather thin until the drums kicked in at 2:38 which is where I actually started to like it. But then the vocals came back in and they sounded as though they didn't quite fit the mix at all.

I'm not trying to put you down or anything. You clearly put a lot of effort into it and it's not a bad song by itself but I think you need to add some kind of effect to the vocals or change the key or something because they really don't fit in with the rest of the song.

On the contrary, I had a listen to some of your other stuff and I really liked "Gameboy". I even started dancing a little xD

It does take a while to get off the ground. But when it does, the vocals and the music aren't really in the same key, so it sounds a bit unpleasant.

The music sounds pretty nice once it gets going, though, perhaps it could work as a standalone song.

I thought it was good! Although I would have to agree with the Sam a tiny, eenie, weenie bit. BTW: It wasn't French House as you categorized it as.

Yup, fix up the key and you might be onto something
It's an interesting take on the track..I think it could be expanded somewhat with more layers to turn out quite well.
