Thomas "Encore" completed helmets *interest thread*

I believe many of you know my work from my past threads on this board so I thought I would open this up just to gauge some interest.

My Thomas mold is now spitting out casts like a machine and I've been working full time cleaning up helmets and getting them ready for paint.

I am currently not selling raw casts, as my main plan is to start selling completed encore helmets ASAP.

If I was to give you a time line I imagine late January/Early February would be a good starting point for them to be completed. I want to start off with two, and I'll see how I feel after that.

    You will receive:

One Thomas Bangalter Encore helmet complete with EL wire and foam padding. The helmets are constructed using Smooth On's Onyx plastic or Smoothcast 300. Trenches will be carved for the wire and secured with either super glue or epoxy glue.

This is just to gauge interest, not in any way a commitment to buy anything.

    Price is 425 + S&H (Canadian Dollars)

Price may change but I'm pretty sure I'm comfortable with that price. If you think it's too high, just say it. I'm open to criticism.

    Thanks for the interest guys!

Is that too high? It's hard to gauge encore helmets because I rarely see them sold.

    Thanks buddy.

I don't think it's too high, I think it's a good price and I have no money. Good luck on this, I'll check back in sometime when I've got money if I get any, because you know as well as I do that I really want one....

I think the price seems reasonable. I usually see Encore's going for $375-400. I don't have the money though, but if you're still doing this in the future I might be interested

Edit: Will you ever offer Encore Guy helmets, Crank?

No, the price is completely up to you, what you feel fair is fair. I just cant afford that.

Guy Manuel's are a possibility but at the moment I'm not very gung ho to start building another DP helmet. So, yes, but not at the moment.
