Remove this ad: become a supporter
What is the best under 250$ CDJ for a beginner DJ?
I know how to use them, I'm just not sure what to choose.
I want something like either the Pioneer CDJ-400

    Or the Pioneer CDJ-900

    Maybe a Pioneer CDJ-2000

Or a Hercules DJ Control Air Turntable (yes thats the one I was thinking of)

Not to sound lame, but why get a CDJ? It's really just more to carry arround (the CDs) and the CDs arent really as cool as vinyl... right?
I've had an NS7 for about 2 years, it's a bit pricey, but its awesome.
With digital you can basically have unlimited tracks at your disposal...

If you want to use CDs thats cool, but i dont really understand CDJ's :P

I kind of agree with you, but at the same time.. its good to learn how to use CDJs at your home. if you can get that money and have you're own.

Pioneer CDJs are standard in ANY club so you wouldn't need to bring them around anyway, but it means you could practice a lot. plus most CDJs have memory stick input now for MP3s.

I prefer Traktor but CDJs are nice because you don't have to worry about latency or any kind of malfunctions. I have Traktor S4 and it works great for me.

Try the NDX 400s, good price, and they're very nice, I've got some.

I was really thinking the Hercules one.

Yeah bby, and it's only 170 for the 2 of them plus the mixer, idk tho, I'm not fully sure yet.
