    Firewire V2 Build

Remove this ad: become a supporter
    Hi all.

I took delivery of the new V2 Firewire mould two weeks ago and have been working on it since.

I'd like to share my progress here, I've already took several photos but it seems I cannot attach images to this thread.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

    Thanks

Have Flicker? I use that, with it's ease of access and simplicity.

You could also use photobucket, or something similar. (also this could be moved over to the helmets section if a mod really wants to)

    Thanks both.

    OK Here's the FlickR images.

What I consider to be interesting about my build is the light display I'm installing.

It'll only cost about 15 all told and will produce one thin red line. Cheap & effective!

    Re: Firewire V2 Build

His pulls are so clean, I think he uses a vacuum pump...which are very much worth the money for those casting in their future.

If you want pictures to show up in the thread do this-

    1. Hover your cursor over "share"
    2. Move your cursor over "Grab the HTML/BBCode"
    3. Copy and paste the code in your thread

The nice thing is that, for me Photobucket is glitchy, and clicking the picture takes the user to your album which usually has more pictures of your build (instead of having to post all your photos in the thread.)

Looking good. I assuming your going to chrome the piece?

Yeah it going off to http://www.chromespray.co.uk/ in the next few days.

Nik Strobe referred me to them, will cost circa 200 for everything but looks to be a top job so excited about that. It's a two week wait time so will have some more images then.

I'll be orderering the Marching Antz jacket then too so would love to see any images of this that anyone has.

I'll be installing them with a remote dimmer/flashing circuit to add some functionality.
