    I just noticed I haven't introduced myself

...even though I registered back in March. This is rather rude of me.

So. I am born in 1992 and got into dance music roughly around 2000. My roots are in trance, which is probably not really the case for the majority of people on here. I was a giant TiŽsto-fan in his 2000-2005 period, even going to his In Concert performance back in 2004 as a present from and together with my parents, even though I was only 12y old. Still one of the best 8 hours of my life.

This is also how my interest for music production started, even though I remember playing around with something called Packard Bell Music Station when I was like 8-10 years old. For the past 3 years, I've been having a lot of fun in Ableton, also occassionally DJ'ing at local events. So far I've had one release, an anthem for a Belgian festival. My bootleg of Gotye's STIUTK (I was one of the very first, back in september 2012!) got played by TiŽsto...which kind of closed a chapter for me. I've grown tired of all the big bangers and big drops and I am currently trying to move away from all that, but I still make more melodic 'trance-y' music. I'm not sure a lot of you would like what I produce, but that doesn't matter, it's that kind of musical diversity in terms of backgrounds/likes that makes this forum so special.

Be that as it may, my love for Daft Punk has always been there. I still remember seeing the One More Time and Digital Love videoclips on TV back in 2001-2002. The Human After All period kind of went past me, though, but the Alive 2007 performances convinced me that they were the number 1 act I had to follow. I was too young to go to Pukkelpop (their Belgian Alive stop) in 07 alone, although I still regret I didn't find a way to do so, considering I had my first 'rave' experience at 12 lmao.

6 years later (not counting the little exciting TRON spark) I finally have a reason to constantly start talking about them, rather than just listening to them occasionally hoping that I would have the chance to experience 'new Daft Punk work' sometime soon.

In all those years I have been following this forum a lot, just to see if anything was coming. After this first month, I am definitely planning to stay here.

    Hallo Belg! Welkom!

So yeah, cool introduction man. If you could just link where we could check your work out.
Oh small mistake perhaps, Daft Punk came to Pukkelpop in 2006

Seeing that you signed up in March and have all those rep bars, you must have done some serious pandering to get there. It took me a year to get where I am now.

Welcome to the club. You kinda missed the line at the breakfast, but no matter. We serve it every day.

I don't know whether I should feel offended or honored.

Benefit of the doubt tells me I should give you a rep for that, so I did.
