Ok so ive started my Thomas and Guy helmet pepakura projects and they're. Turning out nicely. But I have a question, what do you use for the padding inside thehelmets to keep them firmly on your head?

You can just get foam squares or whatever at stores and then cut pieces and just place them all over the place in the helmet so it isnt too loose or too tight

I use this, in conjecture to foam pads. Once I am happy with my helmet, I am covering the interior padding with black cloth (a kin to under armor's material.) Most comfortable helmet I've ever worn.

    Re: padding inside the helmet?

If I had to redo my TK helmet, I would use the motorcycle padding 10/10 times. I use a hardhat liner in my TK lid, and it works. It's no where near as comfortable as my Guy lid.

i used a hardhat halo(headband) in the thomas helmet and then carpet pad cut into various shapes for a snug fit on my Guy helmet.
