Hmm... it's certainly intriguing. The Weekend doesn't really seem like the kinda guy they'd work with but you never know!

Well not surprisingly after Pharrell and Nile's influence on the sound of RAM; I hope it's step back into a more electronic sound. Give me some Homework hybrid for this generation. RAM is when I became obsessed and a fan but also not genre I love from them the most - I do wonder where they will explore musically this time around.

I would love to hear what would come of this. I like The Weeknd's sound (not much on his lyrics, though), and it could mesh with theirs well, I think.

I was a huge fan of the The Weekend with the mixtapes, Kiss Land was ok and the last album was ok as well but this depressive and dark sensibility is not meant for Daft Punk;;although I do like it myself with his solo work. I want to beats again, not instruments just pure beats.

Ps. I am new here I joined around RAM and it was my album of the year! and man I waited for something live and we got that Grammy gig and it was such a tease, so I hope they tour or something.

and what's this thing with Cashmere Cat? He had this pic of him and Weeknd and last month a pic of DP on his Facebook-Site. Is Cashmere Cat known for working with Weeknd or could he be involved to this collab? What do you think?

I am not a huge Weekend fan so not sure what to make of this tbh?, but on the other hand the prospect of hearing new music from Daft Punk after it has been quiet for so long

It might work. My only concern is that I hope The Weeknd isn't going to be singing about "f**king hoes" or any subject matter he touched on in "Or Nah".

No confirmation but it's new music. Either him and Cashmere or him and the robots or all of the above. Cashmere said his single is dropping Friday, so I guess we'll find out soon.
