I like it. Not the type of music I'd listen to normally. But I dig it. The sampled flute line gets stuck in my head.

If you like ABBA, you'll dig it. I get why people would not. No hint of Thomas on it.

Now that I've heard it multiple times, I can surely say that I'd have no idea Thomas was involved. It wouldn't be surprising if all he did was play an instrument and master it. i.e. no artistic input.

Also, on Starboy, Abel stated it was Guy-Man who played around with a drum loop. Meaning, Thomas has probably abandoned the House scene all together. For now, atleast.

    Just a theory.

Or maybe he wanted to do a dance song in a way they could execute it? It's an Arcade Fire song anyway. It'd be weird if they went all house music on it. But I see what you mean, I could picture Thomas doing a song in this sort of style:

the amount of times I've listened to Dancing Queen immediately after Everything Now supports this claim

Second single "Creature Comfort" out now. Instrumental is much more like Thomas, but I don't like the song itself as much as "Everything Now."

EDIT: After looking, I'm curious to see no reference to Thomas Bangalter on this track on Genius. It says the synth and the production was by someone else. This is at odds with Pitchfork's report that Bangalter would be producing the entire album.
