    Guyman Helmet build log

    Hi all,

    About a year ago, I decided to start building my own GM helmet. I started with the following principles in mind:
    • not too expensive
    • animated leds (preferably remote controlled)
    • realistic, but not too anal about specific details
    • not era-specific


    I'll extend this topic with additional details soon. Currently I'm at this point, where I have custom animations and such:

    Looks great. I love not being constrained by trying to make a perfect replica.

    It's more in the spirit of Daft Punk if you ask me.
