reCAPTCHA verification not working!!

I decided to return to the site after a while but forgot my password. I tried to reset it but the recaptcha box says its "reCAPTCHA V1 IS SHUTDOWN" so i couldn't verify my request for a new password. I then tried to make a new account so i could get help but it requires the recaptcha, as well as when i tried to contact the site owners.

Now that I finally remembered my password here's my PSA that the reCAPTCHA is not working and it needs to be fixed. I'm not sure if it's just me or something but if any site moderators are still around, this needs to be checked out.

Forum is practically dead, staff has abandoned it. Captcha being down is known, and essentially means TDC is now only accessible to old members that have their passwords

Hey everyone - ironically I had some trouble with my password and couldn't reset it due to the reCaptcha issue *facepalm*

But I have managed to get back in, and have replaced the system, so the problem should now be resolved

That's... helpful, but only to a certain degree. The site still has major flaws: bots, injected malware scripts that have been present for years now (Chrome keeps on telling me about it, and I am still getting redirected to malware or ad sites from my phone sometimes) and extremely low activity. Highly doubt the latter's gonna be fixed. Everyone's moved to reddit. Those flaws just scared the public away.

I was almost enjoying this being an 'exclusive' site. The majority of new profiles will just be bots anyway

Can you please address the critical issues highlighted in other threads years ago which have ultimately resulted in the death of this forum?
